The 1958 Mod Kitchen: Why Pyrex Collectors Chase This Rare Yellow Casserole

The Mod Kitchen pattern is a highly sought-after, single-piece Pyrex design released in 1958. Originally marketed as the 'New Pyrex Decorator Casserole,' this 1.5-quart yellow oval dish features a bold, geometric black pattern of food items. Complete sets with lids sell for around $100, while standalone dishes cost $40 to $50. Its distinct color and design make it easier to identify than other vintage Pyrex, though it remains elusive for collectors.
