Italy sets conditions for ChatGPT's return.

Italy's data protection watchdog has given OpenAI a list of compliance demands that need to be met for the suspension order against ChatGPT to be lifted. The demands include publishing an information notice detailing data processing, adopting age gating, clarifying the legal basis for processing data, providing ways for users to exercise their rights over personal data, and conducting a local awareness campaign. OpenAI has until April 30 to comply with most of the measures, with a deadline of September 30 for implementing a more robust age verification system.
