Hyundai's EV Platform Paves the Way for Electric Trucks and Double-Digit Profit Margins.

Hyundai Motor Group has unveiled its next-gen EV platform, which will support 13 new EV models from the Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis brands, including electric trucks. The IMA platform will cover more than mid-size SUVs and will enable maximum flexibility. While no details of the EV pickup were offered, Hyundai's sister company, Kia, has already announced plans to introduce two electric trucks to its lineup. Hyundai's first pickup, the Santa Cruz, could also be an option for an electric truck.
