Rivian Joins Forces with Tesla for Charging Network Access
TL;DR
Rivian will adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its electric vehicles, including current R1T and R1S models. Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe said the move will enable customers to use Tesla's Supercharger network while Rivian builds its own charging network, the Rivian Adventure Network. The latter will feature DC fast chargers and be located along popular routes and highways.
