Toyota Expands Affordable EV Line-up with Urban SUV Concept for Europe

Toyota has unveiled its compact Urban Crossover concept, which previews one of the five new electric cars the company plans to launch in Europe within the next two years. Positioned as a rival to the Jeep Avenger and Mini Aceman, the concept gives a strong indication of Toyota's future European EV sales. The production-ready version will be revealed in the first half of 2024, with full specifications to be announced. The Urban Crossover will serve as an electric alternative to the Yaris Cross hybrid and will be the smallest electric car in Toyota's lineup, at least for a while. However, it won't be priced to match the Yaris Cross due to the premium attached to electric cars.
