"Boeing Faces Deadline to Address Safety Issues and Quality Control Disconnect"

Boeing is facing multiple safety issues with its commercial aircraft programs, including delays in new aircraft certifications for the 737 MAX 7 and 737 MAX 10, as well as design problems with the 737 MAX's engine anti-ice system and the 787 Dreamliner's de-icing faults. The FAA has given Boeing a 90-day deadline to address systemic faults and develop a turnaround plan for its safety management system. Additionally, Boeing is in talks with Spirit AeroSystems to reverse its spin-off nearly twenty years ago in an effort to strengthen aviation safety and improve quality.
