Fisker faces production challenges and cuts guidance for Ocean EV.

Fisker has provided a Q1 2023 business update, with a focus on the production and deliveries of the Fisker Ocean. The company has completed US EPA testing for the Fisker Ocean Extreme and expects to receive EPA and CARB approvals later this month. Deliveries of Fisker Ocean Ones to US customers will start in June. Fisker aims to produce 1,400-1,700 vehicles in Q2, subject to delivery by all partners. Fisker forecasts producing 32,000-36,000 units in calendar 2023. The company has also opened experience centers in Vienna, Copenhagen, and Munich, with plans to open more locations across Europe and the US throughout 2023.
