Popeyes Employees Accused of Violently Attacking Woman Over Incorrect Order

A woman has filed a lawsuit against employees at a Popeyes restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, alleging that they violently attacked her in the drive-thru after she tried to correct her order. The incident, which occurred in September 2022, reportedly involved employees pulling out a chunk of the woman's hair and leaving her bruised. The woman claims that she had to pull out a gun to stop the attack. Two individuals have been charged with battery, while another has been charged with misdemeanor obstruction of an officer. The woman is suing both the alleged attackers and the company that owns the restaurant, claiming negligence in hiring a manager with a history of violence. Popeyes has stated that it has "absolutely no tolerance for violence of any kind" and that the employees involved were immediately terminated.
