Russian Intelligence Group Breaches HPE Security Team's Email Accounts

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) disclosed that its cloud-based email system was breached by the Russian state-sponsored hacking group known as Midnight Blizzard or Cozy Bear, with data being accessed and exfiltrated from a small percentage of HPE mailboxes. The company is still investigating the incident, which it believes is related to a previous hack in June 2023. This comes after a similar attack on Microsoft by the same group, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by this Russian intelligence-linked hacking group.
