"Health Care and Government Sectors Lead in March Jobs Report"

The US economy added 303,000 jobs in March, with significant gains in the health care and government sectors. Health care added 72,300 jobs, particularly in doctors' offices, home health care services, hospitals, and nursing facilities, while the government sector saw a growth of 71,000 jobs, mainly in local and state government. The leisure and hospitality sector also contributed to the job gains. However, sectors such as information and manufacturing saw no change in employment. The unemployment rate inched lower to 3.8%, and the overall job growth exceeded expectations.
