Germany Set to Achieve Landmark 50% Renewable Power Milestone

Germany is expected to generate over 50% of its power from renewable energy this year, but the country needs to accelerate its transition to reach its goal of 80% renewable power by 2030, according to Economy Minister Robert Habeck.
