Hulu is following in the footsteps of Netflix and Disney+ by cracking down on password sharing outside of the account holder's "primary personal residence," with subscribers given until March 14 to comply with the new rules. The updated subscriber agreement suggests that users may be able to pay extra to share their membership outside of their household, but it's unclear how Hulu plans to track this. This move comes as Netflix has seen an increase in subscriber numbers after implementing similar restrictions, and with Disney soon to own all of Hulu, it's not surprising that the service is heading in the same direction.
