Cyclospora outbreak tied to iceberg lettuce tops 24,000 cases as spread slows

The CDC reports more than 24,000 cyclosporiasis illnesses across 45 states, including at least 13,895 lab-confirmed cases with 740 hospitalizations and about 10,455 unconfirmed cases; the weekly case increase has slowed to roughly 2,000.
