In 2024, more Americans with diabetes will benefit from reduced insulin costs as Sanofi joins other major insulin manufacturers in capping prices at $35 for many patients. This follows public and political pressure, including from President Biden and the Inflation Reduction Act, which capped Medicare insulin costs. The price reductions also align with changes to the Medicaid rebate program, potentially saving drugmakers hundreds of millions of dollars.
