Nationwide recall of levothyroxine tablets linked to subpotent doses

Major Rugby is recalling 12 packages of levothyroxine sodium tablets sold under Major and Cardinal brands after discovering subpotent doses. Distributed nationwide since January 2025, the tablets are not expected to cause adverse health effects but should be returned to the point of purchase. The recall provides a full list of affected dosages and lot numbers and advises patients to consult their physician if they find the recalled product.
