Salmonella-linked recall hits popular moringa green superfood supplements

The FDA is recalling two moringa-based green superfood supplements sold online nationwide through Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop and Target after a multistate salmonella outbreak is linked to moringa leaf powder. The affected products are TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood (120 capsules) and Doctor’s Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa, sold in white bottles with specific lot numbers and expiration dates. There have been 119 illnesses and 32 hospitalizations nationwide. Consumers should check recall notices for UPCs/expiry dates and seek medical help if symptoms like diarrhea or fever develop; the CDC advises contacting a healthcare professional for serious symptoms.
