IBM and Cleveland Clinic launch nation's first quantum computer for healthcare innovation.

Cleveland Clinic and IBM have unveiled the IBM-managed quantum computer, the first of its kind in the world dedicated to health care research. The IBM Quantum System One aims to help accelerate biomedical discoveries and is the first deployment of an onsite private sector IBM-managed quantum computer in the United States. The technology can potentially accelerate the drug discovery timeline from 17-20 years to just 2-3 years, bringing down costs and improving precision medicine. The partnership also focuses on job creation, economy growth, and educating the workforce of the future.
