UAW Accuses Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen of Union-Busting and Labor Violations

The United Auto Workers (UAW) has filed unfair labor practice charges against Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen, accusing them of illegal union-busting activities during organizing drives. The UAW recently launched an organizing campaign at 13 automakers, aiming to double its membership and demand a fair share for autoworkers. Honda workers in Indiana claim they were threatened and targeted, while Hyundai workers in Alabama say pro-union materials were confiscated and destroyed. At Volkswagen's Tennessee plant, over 1,000 workers have signed authorization cards for union representation. The UAW will demand recognition when 70% of workers sign, or pursue a National Labor Relations Board election.
