Torrez claims that Meta's platforms have become prime locations for predators to trade child pornography and solicit minors for sex. Meta has responded by stating that it uses advanced technology, employs child safety experts, and collaborates with law enforcement to combat predators. This lawsuit follows similar legal actions by other states, accusing Meta of fueling a youth mental health crisis and intentionally evading children's privacy laws.
