US Ports Face Shutdowns Amid Labor Dispute

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union denied any job action and said workers were celebrating the Good Friday holiday. The two groups have been in labour negotiations since May 2022, and the 22,000 dockworkers on the West Coast have been without a collective bargaining agreement since July 1.
