Harvard Professor Tim Springer Donates $210M to Protein Research Nonprofit

Harvard professor Tim Springer, who became a billionaire in 2020 thanks to early investing in Moderna, has donated $210m to his Institute for Protein Innovation. Springer's name is associated with companies such as Moderna, Scholar Rock, and Editas Medicine, and he also founded LeukoSite, which was sold to Millennium Pharmaceuticals.
