SpaceX's Starship eagerly awaits FAA approval for first orbital launch.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk confirms that the Starship spacecraft is ready for launch, with a tentative date set for the end of the third week of April pending regulatory approval from the FAA. The Starship spacecraft is designed to take astronauts and payloads to deep space, including the Moon and Mars, and is paired with a reusable booster known as the Super Heavy. Once launched, the Super Heavy and Starship will separate, with the Super Heavy heading to the Gulf of Mexico and Starship traveling into orbit before reentering Earth's atmosphere and landing in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii.
