Chick-fil-A introduces drone delivery service in Tampa and Brandon

Chick-fil-A is testing drone delivery at a limited number of locations, starting with the Brandon/Valrico location in Tampa Bay, Florida. Customers can select "Chick-fil-A Delivery" on the app to have their order delivered by drone, with a limited delivery radius. The drone delivery service is available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. After placing an order, employees load it into a white box attached to a drone, which is then flown to the delivery location and lowered to the ground for the customer to receive. Chick-fil-A stated that they are "innovating with delivery" and exploring new ways to enhance the guest experience.
