The Truth About AI: Debunking Fears and Myths.

Fears about AI are unfounded, as AI itself is not evil, "out of control," or necessarily dangerous. The danger lies in how we decide to use it. AI will create new jobs, careers, and business opportunities, and will not eliminate jobs. AI will not accelerate income inequality, poverty, and homelessness, but will create a huge new career opportunity for underpaid workers. AI will not create misinformation, cyber warfare, amplified bias, and eventually massive system destruction, but will create an industry of tools, regulations, and monitoring systems to combat these actors. The biggest fear of all, that AI will create a sentient, evil "general AI" engine that could wipe out humanity, is also unfounded.
