Delta flights plagued by emergency slide malfunctions and injuries.
TL;DR
An inflatable emergency slide accidentally deployed inside a Delta Airlines plane while on the ground at Salt Lake International Airport. The plane was diverted due to a maintenance issue, and no emergency landing was declared due to the slide. One crew member was taken to the hospital for evaluation but has since been discharged. All passengers were re-accommodated on a secondary aircraft, and the flight landed at Los Angeles International Airport without further incident. Delta Airlines apologized for the delay and emphasized the importance of passenger safety.
