Southwest Airlines Implements Restrictions on Early Bird Check-In

Southwest Airlines has started limiting the number of EarlyBird check-in spots that passengers can purchase on select flights, routes, and times. The change, which took effect on August 15, is part of the airline's efforts to modernize the customer experience. EarlyBird check-in allows passengers to secure an earlier boarding position, but now there will be restrictions on availability. Passengers who can't use EarlyBird can purchase upgraded boarding passes after check-in, but these are subject to availability and come at a higher cost.
