LaGuardia collision prompts probe into controllers' early departure

Two LaGuardia air traffic controllers reportedly left the tower early the night an Air Canada Express flight collided with an airport fire truck, killing the two pilots aboard the jet. The FAA says it may discipline the controllers (who are on leave), while the NTSB continues its investigation and a final report is not expected for about six months; the NATCA union would not confirm disciplinary action.
