Landslide Disrupts Amtrak Service Between Seattle and Portland

Amtrak has announced that passenger trains between Seattle and Portland will not be running until Thursday due to a landslide caused by heavy rain and flooding brought by an atmospheric river in the Pacific Northwest. The region has experienced record-breaking rainfall and warm temperatures, with flood warnings issued in parts of western Washington.
