Mattel's 'Wicked' Doll Packaging Error Links to Adult Site
TL;DR
Mattel is facing criticism after mistakenly printing the URL of a porn site on the packaging of its 'Wicked' dolls, which are based on the upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway play. The error, which directs users to wicked.com instead of the intended wickedmovie.com, was highlighted by fans on social media, leading to backlash against the toy company. The dolls feature characters played by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and the mistake has been found on numerous boxes being sold online.
