Game developer Insomniac Games, known for titles like Ratchet & Clank and Marvel's Spider-Man, fell victim to a ransomware attack resulting in the leak of 1.67TB of data. The leaked information includes assets and story spoilers from unreleased games, a roadmap of upcoming titles, internal company communications, and employees' personal data. The attack revealed screenshots and assets from the upcoming Wolverine game, confirming it as the first in a trilogy of games featuring X-Men characters. The leaked data also disclosed plans for a new Ratchet & Clank game and a Spider-Man sequel. The ransomware group demanded $2 million, which Insomniac Games refused to pay.
