Boyle’s Ink to Kick Off Venice Film Festival

Danny Boyle’s Ink will open the 83rd Venice Film Festival with a world premiere in the main competition, starring Jack O’Connell as The Sun editor Larry Lamb, Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch and Claire Foy. Written by James Graham, the drama tracks Murdoch’s acquisition of The Sun and its impact on British tabloid journalism, with Studiocanal producing and distributing Ink across multiple territories including the U.K., France, Germany, Poland, Benelux, Australia and New Zealand (Italy handled by Lucky Red).
