Five metro Detroit chefs and establishments have been named as nominees for the James Beard Foundation Awards, including Hajime Sato for Outstanding Chef, Spencer for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, and Sarah Welch, Andy Hollyday, and Omar Anani for Best Chef in the Great Lakes region.
