Maria Menounos' Brave Battle with Pancreatic Cancer and Pregnancy.

Former E! News anchor Maria Menounos revealed in an interview with People that she battled stage 2 pancreatic cancer earlier this year, which was detected early and treated with surgery. Menounos had been experiencing symptoms related to type 1 diabetes, which runs in her family, before a full-body MRI revealed a 3.9-centimeter mass that turned out to be a tumor. She underwent surgery in February to remove the tumor, part of her pancreas, her spleen, a large fibroid, and 17 lymph nodes. Menounos is now expecting a child via surrogate later this year.
