"Kill Boksoon": A Thrilling Korean Action Film with a Twist
TL;DR
"Kill Boksoon" is a South Korean action-thriller film about a single mother who is also a top assassin. As she struggles with whether to give up her career, her employers betray her, and she fears her daughter will discover her secret. The film features inventive fight scenes shot with uncanny style, but the sound design and score lack ferocity. Beneath the gore, the story is about understanding and a tender mother-daughter bond. Directed by Sung-hyun Byun and starring Jeon Do-yeon, "Kill Boksoon" is available to watch on Netflix.
