Gordo Didn't See Drake's Surprise Triple Album Drop Coming

Drake stunned fans by releasing a three‑album trilogy, a move Gordo didn’t anticipate after working on material for about 18 months and expecting two albums. The producer helped shape eight tracks across Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, but Drake ended up doing much of the final stitching himself, steering the projects into experimental, club‑leaning territory with moments like Hoe Phase’s amapiano feel. Notable collaborations include Popcaan on Amazing Shape and Sexxy Red on Cheetah Print, plus a Peggy Gou sample.
