Chris Anne Affleck, Civil Rights Advocate and Ben & Casey’s Mother, Dies at 83

Christopher Anne Affleck, a long-time Massachusetts public school teacher and civil rights organizer who taught literacy during Freedom Summer 1964 and remained active in social justice, died in June after a terminal illness at age 83.
