Minecraft Movie Build Challenge: Create in a 16x16x32 Space for a Screen Appearance

Minecraft launches a Movie Build Challenge inviting players 16+ to craft a 16x16x32 build inside one of four biomes (plains, taiga, badlands, or frozen ocean) using a fixed block set, with the winner’s build potentially featured in A Minecraft Movie Squared and a private screening if selected. Submissions run May 30–June 8, 2026 via gleam.io, followed by internal judging and public voting July 2–5, with the winner announced around July 6. Separately, all players can earn a Builder Cape by watching Minecraft creators on TikTok or Twitch during May 30–June 14 and redeeming by June 30. Rules prohibit Nether/End blocks, redstone, signs, banners, maps, and hostile mobs; builds must stay inside the 16x16x32 area and be eligible for a possible in-film exterior appearance.} {
