"Disney Parks Revamp Disability Access Service to Prevent Misuse"

Disney is making changes to its Disability Access Service (DAS) at its California and Florida theme parks, limiting it to guests with developmental disabilities who are unable to wait in conventional queues for extended periods. The new procedures for requesting DAS will go into effect on May 20 at Walt Disney World and June 18 at Disneyland, with virtual registration replacing in-person registration. The service will be valid for the length of the guest's theme park ticket or up to 120 days, and will be limited to the guest's immediate family or a group of no more than four unrelated people. Other rumored changes include accommodations for those with non-developmental disabilities that impact their ability to stand in line.
