ABBV-951, Abbvie's continuous infusion formulation of levodopa/carbidopa for advanced Parkinson's disease, will now be accessible at low or no cost to eligible patients in England, according to the final recommendation by NICE. The therapy, sold under the brand name Produodopa, will be available for free or with a small copay. This marks the first time NICE has approved a treatment for Parkinson's.
