India and Saudi Arabia have issued a joint statement calling on states to reject the use of terrorism against other countries and prevent access to weapons, including missiles and drones, for committing acts of terror. The two countries emphasized the importance of security and stability in Afghanistan, and the formation of an inclusive government representing all Afghan people. They also stressed the need to strengthen security cooperation in combating terrorism and its financing, while rejecting any attempt to link terrorism to a particular race, religion, or culture. The leaders called on all states to dismantle terrorism infrastructure, bring perpetrators to justice, and enhance cooperation in areas such as cyber security, maritime security, and combating transnational crime.
