TurboTax settlement refunds millions to taxpayers.

Intuit TurboTax is paying a $141 million settlement after state attorneys general claimed that the company "engaged in deceptive and unfair acts and practices" to get people to pay for something advertised as a free service. More than 40,000 people in Kansas will receive a portion of the settlement, with most affected customers receiving between $29 and $30. Customers who are eligible for a payment will automatically receive a check in the mail this month and do not need to contact Intuit directly.
