"Arizona Woman's Alleged Attempt to Poison Husband with Bleach-Laced Coffee"

An Arizona woman, Melody Felicano Johnson, has been accused of attempting to kill her husband by lacing his coffee with bleach on a daily basis since March. The husband, a US military member, became suspicious after noticing a peculiar taste in his coffee while stationed in Germany. He set up cameras in their home and recorded footage of Melody pouring something into his coffee pot. After returning to the US, he filed a report with the Tucson police, who initially did not follow up. However, additional cameras eventually captured Melody pouring bleach into the coffee maker. Authorities found liquid smelling like bleach in the coffee maker and a container with a small amount of liquid in Melody's bedroom. She has been indicted on charges of attempted first-degree homicide and remains in custody.
