"Arizona Woman's Poisoned Coffee Plot to Kill Husband Ends in Charges"

Melody Felicano Johnson of Tucson, Arizona, has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, attempting to commit aggravated assault, and poisoning food or drink after allegedly attempting to kill her husband by poisoning his coffee every day for months. The husband, who is serving in the US Air Force, discovered a foul taste in his coffee and used hidden cameras to catch his wife pouring an unknown substance, believed to be bleach, into the coffee maker. He suspects she was trying to kill him to collect death benefits. Johnson pleaded not guilty and is being held in jail with a bond set at $250,000.
