Bronx Man Charged with Torturing Teenage Siblings in Captivity

Michael Ramos, a 34-year-old man, has been charged with assaulting and torturing his teenage siblings, a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, in a Bronx apartment since January. The children were found with injuries all over their bodies, including whip marks and puncture wounds, and reported being beaten with bats and whipped with electrical cords. Ramos also threatened them at gunpoint. The victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition. Ramos has been charged with assault and child endangerment and is currently in jail.
