Nasyrova visited her victim's home in August 2016 bearing the gift of a cheesecake, which was laced with phenazepam, a highly potent sedative. The victim fell unconscious and was later found with pills scattered around her to make it look like she had tried to kill herself. Nasyrova was also convicted of assault, unlawful imprisonment, and theft.
