Elusive Vermont robbery suspect finally apprehended after multi-vehicle pursuit

A robbery suspect in Vermont, who had evaded capture by using various modes of transportation including a vehicle, bike, sailboat, and kayak, was finally arrested after being spotted in a kayak on a river. The suspect, Eric Edson, was wanted for robbery, assaulting police officers, and theft. After a series of escapes, he was apprehended by troopers and game wardens after swimming to the southern shore of the Lamoille River. Edson is expected to be arraigned on Friday.
