International Indictments and Sanctions: Iranian-Canadian Murder-for-Hire Plot Uncovered

An Iranian and two Canadian nationals have been indicted for conspiring to use interstate commerce in a murder-for-hire plot targeting two individuals who had defected from Iran and were residing in Maryland. The defendants communicated through an encrypted messaging service to plan the logistics and mechanics of the murders and negotiate payment.
