Joran van der Sloot to be transferred to US for Natalee Holloway case.

US federal agents are on their way to Peru to transfer Joran van der Sloot, the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, to US federal custody. Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in Peru for the 2012 murder of Stephany Flores. He is also facing federal charges of extortion and wire fraud in the US for allegedly extorting money from Holloway's mother. Peru has agreed to temporarily extradite van der Sloot to the US to face these charges before returning him to Peru to serve his murder sentence.
