Kidnap Fear Leads Woman to Shoot Uber Driver and Take Photo.

A woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after shooting an Uber driver in El Paso, Texas, because she believed she was being kidnapped into Mexico. The woman arranged and paid for the Uber ride to the casino but saw a traffic sign that showed the words "Juarez, Mexico," which led her to believe the driver was attempting to kidnap her. She then grabbed a handgun and shot the driver, causing the crash on the highway. The victim remains in critical condition, and the woman was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000 bond.
