Man with Jan. 6 riot ties arrested near Obama's D.C. home with weapons

A man who was sued for his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 riot was arrested near former President Barack Obama's residence with firearms in his van. Taylor Taranto, charged as a fugitive from justice, was detained by Secret Service officers, and a specialized unit performed a sweep of his van. The arrest occurred in relation to a civil lawsuit filed against Taranto, where he was accused of handing a weapon to another man who used it to strike a police officer during the riot.
